[DJRadiocutter - Project Dubstep Wars [Entry For Dubstep Wars #2]]

OK yeah fav song by you pros and cons time
Pros:
The structure/layout is fantasitc, its very unique
Its not to long, the way the song is layed out calls for a short song anf you nailed that
The sounds in the drop are great, much more dubsteppy than what you normally do (love it)
Is that a tempo change in the song?
The second buildup (first before the drop) is great
Its actually dubstep!!! By that i mean its not a house hybrid like nexus

Cons:
The drop is quieter than the builds so it has no impact
There is some funky high-end in the second half that sounds like it doesnt fit
The first build is way to loud for the rest
The drop sounds slightly muddy

Anyway great job!

Yeah, Thx. i guess Prj Nexus was A hybrid now that i think of it :\ the sounds in the drop took up to 9 hours... then i exported them so my PC wouldn't crash xD
Yea, it is tempo change, i made a tempo automation clip (that's right, you can do that 8)
Agree'd the drop sounds a bit muddy, and it wouldv'e been worse had i not used stereo compressor, and Fruity flanger, Fruity flangus, and Fruity chorus as well as soundgoodizer... It clipped right before the drop, that it went quiet, and side-chained in. i'd have made it louder, but it went into the red zone too much, i was afraid it would sound like that riddim song we listened to yesterday (no offence riddim guy, it just clipped a lot...)

Got potential, some of the sounds are interesting - not good because of how they are mixed - but interesting. Spend more than four hours on a track and I bet you're gunna be making some dope riddim soon

I dont like the low white noise sweeps but other than that its quite good.
I dont listen to Colbreakz so i cant compare this to the original but im sure you did fantastic on the actual remix part of it! Impressive for all harmor. Good job!

Thanks. i think harmor is pretty good when making dance, just not Dnb nor Dubstep/Drumstep/Brostep. Colbreakz is great! You should really check him out. i love his stuff!

Your piano is really good! But the main reason im writing this is not to say good things about the song (although i could) but to ask if there is something special I have to do to get in dubstep wars. You told me in the review that I should join but I already have 1 submission: In The City. Is there something special i have to do other than just use the hashtag?

[Sad Machine (Artii Remix) [DUBSTEP WARS SUB]]

Ok, so the instrumentation in this track is utterly fantastic. This feels more like a really long intro though, not necessarily a bad thing, as I said, the music is amazing. The vocals sound nice and pleasant and fit with the track. Gotta love the original although I'm more of a Divinity guy ;) My only musical complaint is that it is too quiet. It simply isn't loud enough. The dynamics of all of the instruments/vocals in comparison to each other is perfect, everything just needs some gain.
Other than that, very well done!

I worked really hard on this, and I'm glad to see that it sounds as good as I hoped!
I also agree that the mastering could be better; I'm still getting the hang of mastering, but I'll get there eventually.

I love the song the intro and vocal chops especially, different from... well kinda reminds me of a smoking chain. I don’t wanna be mean the 3.5 is for originality. Although it is only a 3.5, like I said, I love, absolutely love, the vocal chops. The feel... more original. It sounds (and by that I mean the mix and master) top notch. With what you have and what you can do a really look foward so seeing what you do in the future :)

My favorite song by you for sure. It could be a bit louder but no worries. The sub is sick and everything seems to mixed well. The basses are great good job on those. Keep it up!
